MIDDLE SCHOOL MODEL UNITED NATIONS

Middle School Model United Nations Conference (MidMUNC) is a simulation of the U.N. Committees and other multilateral bodies. Students take on the role of a national ambassador to the United Nations and support their country's position on various pressing international and historical issues. MidMUNC gives students the opportunity to delve into the world of international affairs firsthand, while providing students with the chance to write, discuss, and debate mock resolutions. The goal is to enhance political awareness and responsible citizenship through the study and debate of political issues in an intellectual setting.

MidMUNC is designed to help delegates develop expertise in a specific legislative area as well as expose them to a broad array of political and historical issues. The Model United Nations experience brings to life the problems that face the real world and allows participants to represent their assigned country's position and work towards resolving issues of global importance.
